The 2023 AVCA Phenom College Prep Program will take place from December 14-16, 2023 in Tampa, Florida. In 2022, 242 college coaches RSVP'd in advance or registered onsite in Omaha. The program is the only showcase that consistently has more than 200 college coaches in attendance. AVCA Phenom College Prep Programįor the twelfth year, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) will host the invitation only AVCA Phenom College Preparatory Program. The requirements for having an athlete on the AVCA Phenom List are: the student-athlete must be an underclassmen who has been recognized in some form for her outstanding volleyball abilities (All-Region, All-State, PVB Watchlist, USAV NTDP team, etc.) AND the student-athlete's high school head coach, club coach, or club director must be an active AVCA member. Uncommitted athletes on the AVCA Phenom Watch List are invited by the AVCA to participate in the Phenom College Preparatory Program. Please follow this link to find the nomination form. Late nominations will be accepted through September 26th, with any additions or corrections to the Watchlists published once a week. Nominations must be submitted by August 25th in order to be considered for the August 28th publication. Nominations for the AVCA Phenom List and AVCA All-America Watchlist opened on May 8, 2023. The 2023 AVCA Phenom Watchlist and 2023 AVCA All-America Watchlist will be published on August 28, 2023.
